System Components

Same as his older brother SpeedyLight UV LED, the design criteria for the WaterLight UV LED was to avoid the existence of several elements distributed throughout the work site, limiting the risks and inconveniences associated to the presence of unnecessary cables. The result is a highly portable device that can be transported on a light vehicle and handled by an operator. The system comprises a control unit, a cable reel with built-in power supply, 50 m of cable (standard) and two LED curing head for jobs in different diameter ranges. The curing heads are interchangeable, to facilitate maintenance and operability of the system. System is also available in one single or triple curing head configuration.

System Components

The following are the main elements of the WaterLight UV LED system:

Portable Control Unit.

Command control and configuration of all system functions. 5’’ TFT display for CCD camera and 9,7’’ industrial tactile screen for PLC. Multilanguage platform.

UV LED Curing Heads

Interchangeable design. LED power output of 600 W per curing head, in configurations x1, x2 or x3, for curing up to DN300.

50 m Cable Reel

Cable reel with 50 m of umbilical hose of DN20. Including ducts to supply compressed air, both for curing head cooling and to keep internal pipe pressure. Includes wheels for easy transportation.

Motorized Pulling Unit with LCD

Motorizes the head along the pipe during the curing process. Includes LCD display for CCTV camera, electric motors, pressure gauge, manual pressure regulation and silencer.

Y Connector

Y shape connector 6", Camlock type, used to introduce the curing head into the pressurized pipe. Element compatible with standard inversion drum. Material: aluminum alloy construction.
